Default Ever try Dry-Gas? Seems to run smoother

So I found in my old civic that putting in a bottle of dry-gas (alcohol/methanol) it ran better and seemed to pull a little more too.

I put a bottle in my s2000 and swear it seems smoother etc. Is it me, or is someone else seeing this too?

Never heard it called dry gas before. You think it is working like octane booster? Is that safe it even safe to use?

I ran 103 octane once and i swear it ran better. It was during the summer and it didnt bog down at all and it seemed to have a little more low end power.

You can run up to 15% alcohol in tank with no problems. Ethanol/methanol contains a good bit more octane that gasoline, so you get more power to the engine with corresponding drop in mileage.

People in these parts use dry gas quite a bit, it helps keep the gas lines from freezing if you suspect you may have some water in your tank. I've used it before, though not in the S, and can't recall any improvement other than not having my gas lines freeze up in the below zero weather.
