It happens to me all the time. Quite annoying to tell you the truth. The worst when I'm on the expressway. They would pull up and then accelerate for a good 1/2 mile, slow down and wait for me to catch up to do it all over again. Dont get me wrong though. I might be giving the wrong signals as well because I'm always on a spirited drive when I'm in the S. LOL

For some reason it seems like everyone in "modded" trucks, or with a hemi or what not always want to race me here in Texas.
All the cowboys riding around on horses do too...

When I had my S2000 I experienced the same thing. I'd say almost daily someone would either rev their engines or do something else trying to get me to race them. Most of the times they were just civics, integras, rsx, celicas, etc. I've owned and driven several sports cars but for some reason I never had the same frequency of "race proposals" in any other car (BMW M3, Z01 Corvette, Porsche Cayman S, RX-8) as I did with the S2000.

It's only happened to me once and it was a street bike that was trying to race me (maybe s2k's look a lot faster then they are?)

The strange thing for me is... I don't ever recall having this issue since the whole time I have owned this car (back in 02). From stock, to modified no one has rev'd, flew by, or wanted to race me ...And I live in SoCal! Where as my friend has a story to tell almost on a weekly basis...very weird.

I've had civic and integras rev there engines and try to race me. I have nothing to prove to them. I just let them make fools of them selves.
