Default Everyone that is running a Test Pipe

Hey guys, I have been running a T1R testpipe for the past few months and I just noticed yesterday after I washed my car that my rear bumper was turning a brownish color around the exhaust tips due to the exhaust fumes without the cat. After 30 minutes of cleaning it with a cleaner wax the bumper looks brand new, but it was a PITA to get it off. I just wanted to remind everyone that is running a test pipe to wax their rear bumpers for a little protection. Also, I wash my car every week and I still got this buildup so just keep an eye on it .

Yup, that is the only downfall to a test pipe. Don't mind tho, the benefits far outweigh that. I clean mine with rubbing compound and it comes right off. Do it about once every month or two. Whenever it becomes yellow enough to look bad.

I use mothers chrome polish.
Not the best method but it comes right off.

If you are that worried, dont post here. It will over load the severs resulting in a "crash", forcing me to drive my car all over town in a "pedal to the metal" frenzy!

Please dont be dumb. We are all well aware.

You can use grime-away and it takes it off with 1 spray and two passes with a wet towel. It goes from brown to shiny in 10 seconds. Make sure you completely wash all of the grime-away off afterwards though.
