Great list -- Can I ask you to elaborate on two items?

50. It is simple to upgrade the stock radio to a better headunit and to keep the dashboard switch functions (see Modifry or SWI-PS from Crutchfield). You mean enter those names in Forums search for more info?

55. Hardtop strikers can rattle if not tight, stuffing little foam pieces in joints also cuts rattle. You mean stuffing them into the slots where the clasps snap into the strikers?

Thanks!

are you sure about this one ?
I do not know if these are considered full size (as I do not golf), but here's a pic...

I was thinking the same thing...

Guess I need to try harder.

Two medium size golf bags will fit in the trunk.

Also a Full size cooler will fit in the trunk.

Re: the golf clubs, I have a Ping Hoofer and my buddy has one of those big leather pro bags. NO WAY were they both going to fit. We drove to the course with his bag in the trunk and mine in his lap...

My dad has a hoofer as well though, and both hoofers fit.

Yup, full size STAND BAGS. Not the big Pro bags. Listed the "full size" part to reinforce that they weren't the little nylon "Sunday bags" that carry 1/2 set of clubs.

50. I went to Crutchfield.com and ordered $500 worth of stuff. Included Pioneer HU that plays MP3 disks, the IPOD adapter that displays playlists on the HU (so you can hide your IPOD away), amplified subwoofer, Infiniti door speakers, and the PAC SWI-PS.

The PAC works with the dash controls as if they were steering wheel remote controls and retains their function with your HU.

Others have found good use with the Modifry.com adaptor to retain dash controls. It has the added features of speed sensitive volume controls (but this may cause a lot of random beeping in the Pioneer whenever the volume is auto-adjusted).

55. Hardtop strikers:

The above post is for softtop striker rattle. Works on hardtops too. Search for "hardtop rattle" for more threads. I used a combination of Shin-Etsu silicone, black cloth, and electrical tape in strategic conditions after tightening the crap out of the latches themselves.

One of the places it rattles is side to side. Putting foam shims at the pivot joint damps that. It also rattles up and down. A little pad where the latch smacks the roof stops that. One of these days, I'll take off both latches and put silicone discs in every loose impact point... but the McGuyver fixes have worked so far.

>49. It's possible to add sound deadening and quiet the car somewhat. Passenger footwell above the tranny, convertible tray, and over the hollow gas tank for starters. Firewall also helps.

Anyone have the details on this (with pictures)? Sounds interesting.
