A Samsonite "Oyster" hard-side suitcase fits perfectly in the trunk if the spare is not there. By perfectly I mean ZERO fore-aft space. Like custom fit perfect.

And it comes in black, blue, light blue, yellow, oraange, red... pretty much everything but brown.

This list is great, I would never have thought about 88 if I hadn't seen it on this list. Now I'm going to go check all that when I can (and when I figure out how)
