80. There is a sequence you can program yourself so that when you turn on the defrost, the A/C doesn't automatically come on.
Any1 has a link for that? The A/C thing pisses me off.

For some crazy reason the link won't post.

Here is the sequence per sebrings2k post. (note: this is for a CRV but works on the S2K) I recommend printing this out and keeping it in the glove box. Everytime I disconnect the battery it defaults back.

To deactivate automatic a/c feature on 2002 CR-V:

1) Turn vehicle off.
2) Turn fan knob off.
3) Turn temperature knob all the way to the left (blue area).
4) Turn vent knob to panel only setting (next to max a/c).
5) Hold down both air recirculation button and a/c button while starting car.
6) Continue holding for 7 seconds until air recirculation button stops flashing.

To reactivate automatic a/c feature on 2002 CR-V:

1) Turn vehicle off.
2) Turn fan knob off.
3) Turn temperature knob all the way to the left (blue area).
4) Turn vent knob all the way to the right (defrost position).
5) Hold down both air recirculation button and a/c button while starting car.
6) Continue holding for 7 seconds until air recirculation button stops flashing.
7) After the 7 seconds described in step 6, the recirculation button will start to flash. Continue to hold the button for another 7 seconds. After this, the a/c light will turn to green and it's finished!

Thanks for these instructions! I find it annoying too! By "panel only" setting are we talking about top vents only?

124. If you find frost on your windshield, do NOT use an old rusty license plate to scrape it off... banghead.gif https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=545000
Try using one of those free AOL CD's instead, it works great

Good god...

I didn't think people like this actually existed. I always thought it was a parody.

(By the way, I only got as far as point 3 before spotting an error, or at least something due clarification - it's perfectly fine to mix and match tyres front to back, just not on the same axle)

Clarification: this is more for noobs who might mix factory S02s up front with cheapo all-seasons in the rear... setting themselves up for some wicked oversteer.

Advanced users who know the limits and handling characteristics of tires and the vehicle can tweak things as they see fit. Some AX'rs run same sized tires at all 4 wheels.

If your radio door is temperamental, sometimes doesn't open.

There is a moulding line along the the air vent area which catches the edge of the door.
Run the edge of a very sharp knife along the moulding to remove it.
(Knife at 90% and gently scrape the moulding line off)
