I think evos look better than STIs, my brother has a 04 WRX modded, I think the look department is def OK, however comparing to EVO, mitsubishi wins.

only if it was 6 spd, MR is a little too expensive

i was hittin mid 12's with that untuned.
You got a time slip to back that up?

Get the stook. Better looking, funner to drive. Rear wheel drive is the way to go with a sports car. AWD kinda kills it to me. Also, the torque curve on the Evo is much flatter, meaning it is probably faster feeling down low, but, when I drove one, it felt kinda boring up in the tach. S2k gets better the more you rev it....definitely more of an adrenaline rush.

You turbo it with a good tune (and possibly some sleeves), you can put down 300whp. Add in a set of 4.57's, and you will smoke just about any Evo out there....

Why would you want to turbo a car you've never driven? Sounds stupid to me. I say get the Evo, it has more what your looking for, easy to drive fast, powerful, mod friendly, basicly a decked out economy car. I think the S2000 would be too classy for you, it's a gorgeous car, with great performance on and off the track. Its a drivers car. In other words, your better off buying the Evo because your probably not a good enough driver to use all the Evo's ability, so your definetly not talented enough to use the S2000's, and it sounds like you just want to make a car thats farther away from your driving ability with all those wicked power mods YO!

I agree apples to oranges. Turbos are expensive. Why not drive the car for a while, before you really make up your mind. I also agree get a car that comes stock with a turbo. Turbo installs are the worlds biggest headaches. To much can go wrong. I do not know much about the s2000. That is why I am here to learn. But I do know the Evos are amazing cars. 12 secs stock is a little outrageous. But I agree with some simples mods and tuneups you can get that car well over what it comes out of the box. As for it being a drivers car, I thougt the evo was made for rally racing. Doesn't that make it pretty hard to handle?

i like the evo cause of its looks

of course its personal preference but....no classic sports car contour breathes in evo. just to plain fugly to deal with. but then its my opinion after all.

AWD w/ a lot of grip and decent balance, Its very easy to drive, its made to drive good in snow and ice covered dirt roads, so it handles dry paved roads like it's nothing. A truly driver friendly car. Many people that drive Evos, feel they are better drivers then what they are because the car has very friendly limits. S2000 is a little more complex that asks for more finesse. That's why many will say the S2000 is slower, but more fun to drive.
