Always remember that rubberized undercoatings will retain moisture. Plus your still adding weight to the car. 1 gallon of that stuff probably weighs 15lbs? One small chip on the undercoating and moisture will enter and promote rust.
Since it is rubberized.....it is not likely to chip. I wouldn't worry about rust, modern vehicles are well protected from corrosion.

Just ordered a gallon from the website... Thanks for the good find!

Shipping for me was only $7 because I am on the west coast. I will report back here with my results as well.

That little can won't give you anything in the way of soundproofing. I used almost a gallon to spray three coats in my trunk. Can't report on any results though as my car is down for turbo work.

What type of coating did you use?

With the Quietcoat I put 3 coats on as recommended and used a little over a 1/2 gallon to do the trunk. This made a dramatic difference in sound dampening.

For those of you who have used the QuietCoat, is application to the trunk enough, or do you plan on applying to more of the vehicle? Just trying to get an idea of how much total might be needed...so far, sounds like 1/2 to 1 gallon for the trunk alone. I'm contemplating applying it to my V8 Grand Cherokee as well.....wondering if I ought to think about the five gallon container?
