It took a full 5 days for me to notice the complete effects this product offers. The cabin did sound moe quiet at first but got substantially better over time.
I found the same thing, the sounds levels got progressively better over a week.

I too have debated doing the floorboards and at first I thought it wasn't necessary, however now that I have gotten used to the sound I may reconsider.

I have about a 1/2 gallon of quietcoat left and I am going to do the doors and rear wheel wells and then see from there.

Interesting thread, but I kind of enjoy the S sound.

My 1 gallon Quietcar container was only 3/4 full, I contacted them last Monday and they will send me a 32 oz container. When you received your order, making sure that the container is full.
The car is quieter than before, 5 days after I applied the Quietcoat to the trunk only. I used to turn the volume of my Nakamichi HU at 30 at city speed of about 45 mph, now I only turn it up to 25 - 26.
Checking the rear wheel wells, I saw that there is some kind of undercoating already there, I will not do the rear wheel wells. I will try to apply 2-3 coats under the car, specially, on the shiny aluminum 'plate' above the differential, and around the transmission/drive-shaft tunnel. I am not going to do the rear tray, since I have RSX Bose Sub in the spare tire well, if I do the rear tray, it will block most the bass from the sub.
I think that Quietcar is a good product, very easy to use and the price is fair. I am glad that I found this thread.
Thanks you Zeniac

I guess I'm the only one who dreams of making the S2000 as quiet as an Accord?

HECK NO!

In my case I am balancing what I think a sports car should sound like, maintaining my investment in good stereo sound, and knocking down the 3-4k drone in aftermarket exhausts.

The factory exhaust is TOO quiet for this car.

I have seen a few posters saying they like the sound as is (I will assume they have stock exhausts and don't suffer from the drone! )

Do any of you who have used QuietCar regret using it? I.e., quieted the car down too much??

Anyone have anymore info or updates on this product?

Has anyone of you guys given any thoughts about applying it to the underside of the hood or the cabin side of the firewall? Just curious...
