Default Exhaust...

Which exhaust would be the best buy if u want to mimic the sound of a formula 1 car regardless of the price? I know that the stock does it pretty well, better than any other car that is under $100k sold in the US, but after seeing an F355 on track, I want to make my car sound even closer to F1 cars, like how the F355 does it. Would this be possible at all by just replacing the exhaust? Or would u have to tune the engine so that it has higher redline?

HKS Hi-Power is what I have. I think, along with many others, that this is a nice Ferrari-esque sounding exhaust. They have many clips on the forum for you to listen to.

Whatever exhaust "topfuel" had on his car sounded pretty F1 like. Granted, it was mated to a set of ITB's, but hey.

Thank you all for the great replies.
Amuse's R1000 seem to be the one that matches my preference the closest. What do you guys think?

r1000 is a very hardcore exhaust system. 70 mm piping, no cat, no resonator, straight through design. according to people who have heard this exhaust, it will make your ears bleed. but it offers lots of gains, almost like 12-15 whp. i also think it's one of the best looking exhaust systems out there. its the total package IMO. there's another option, you can get the single amuse r1 which looks the same as the r1000 except it utilizes the cat(it is catback) and will pass emissions. gains for this system are around +8whp. i was thinking about going with the r1000 but it may waaay to loud for daily driving, will be smelly(no cat) and will make my bumper dirty rear quick. i also don't want to deal with a CEL and failing emissions. im probably going with the single amuse r1.
