I'd love to get LED lights all the way around: turn signals, side markers, brake lights, etc. All it takes is a minute or two behind a new S-class or Seville to see the difference that it can make.

I didn't even know they made LEDs for our turn signals. Keep us updated on the project.

No we'll be able to blind people from the front (HIDs) as well as the back (LEDs).

Does anyone know the specs for the bulbs in the tail lights (model, mount, volt rating, etc)? If so, we can see if there's a replacement LED unit, which I'll order immediately.

xviper, yes, these replace the small wedge bulb in the side markers -- they're orange (amber).

Rick, thanks for the part numbers ... It's quite confusing trying to find it through navigation on the site. Everything seems to look the same. Can you show me a link to find those side markers you found only this time in blue?

Takashi,

Try this link: http://www.netdisty.net/ds/WF3126/.

They're available in a rainbow of colors.

Thanks Rick, that's what I was exactly looking for ... The right ones to order. I suppose we're the 12v only right? Damn, the prices are quite astonishing but I can cope with it if they're impressive. How does yours perform?

Takashi,

I don't have them yet, so I can't remark on performance.

Rick,

Did you install clear side-marker lenses or are you still using the amber ones?
