Usually I'm the first to remind our fellow americans that people actually LIVE in the rest of the world, they're not only there to complement the antique buidings views...

Schatten, which means 'shadow' in German.
Used it since '94 or so on boards, irc, talkers, and the like ever since. It came from a short story I wrote called 'the life without a shadow' which was titled and had portions written in German. It means many things, to me, and to others - but that's why I have the philosophy degree - I only wish I could have taken a speech minor so I could think outloud. *hmmmm*
