Summit Racing, they have the fuel cells AND the hardware to fill your OEM tank from the cell.

Might I suggest that you have purchased the wrong car for your needs. A nice diesel powered Jetta @ 42 mpg with a 14.5 gallon fuel tank would meet your criteria without turning you into a crispy critter or asphyxiating you. Or, a nice Prius @ 50 mpg and an 11.9 gallon fuel tank may suit your needs. On the other hand, what the hell. Dump a big bag o gas in the trunk, light up a big stogie and make some news.

but none of those are convertibles, if he wanted to drive a mommy wagon then you are right he bought the wrong car.

Nothing wrong with a properly designed/built/installed fuel cell, it will do the job.

Personally, I LIKE getting out every couple hundred miles to stretch my legs

Put the S2000 on a flatbed and have a buddy drive you 600 miles whilst you sit perched in the Honda.

This all sounds very sketchy. As previously posted, use a fuel cell if you MUST do this, gas cans are at best annoying with the fumes and at worst fatal with the fire hazard (Google "Ford Pinto").

Personally I wouldn't be out with my S in the middle of nowhere with no refueling options along the way. Remember, the hills have eyes.

Thanks guys. I got a few suggestions from folks that will work.

The sketchy people - you guys watch too many movies
Buy a different car people - you completely missed the point. It's to have fun in this car.

Yeah I'm different. Mods can lock this thread now.

You'll need a hitch, a U-Haul, some waterproof caulk, a few feet of rubber hose and a pump. I did this myself and drove from Alaska down here to Florida without stopping.

Oh yeah, bulk packs of adult diapers and Twinkies.

Wait, don't lock. Can you post your solution when it's done? I'm curious.

I also want to know how far you're able to go without stopping at a gas station

we don't have to lock it. I think it just gets beaten to death with stupid comments after a while.

I will let you guys no how I go.
