Extended Warranty - Worth it?
I laughed aloud reading this. Made my day. Walk and chew gum. Ha!
Worth is always a subjective matter on any topic. Read the terms of the warranty you're considering and make the call. It's not a one-size-fits-all matter. If you need assistance in determining whether it's worth it to you then you need to clarify your criteria. Polling others only tells you what popular opinion is. The opinions of others really don't help unless those people have needs/wants in line with your own.
Additionally, I can give my anecdotal evidence as others have and say that I haven't replaced anything that would be covered by extended warranty. However, that doesn't mean that you won't run into stuff that would be covered.

I got one when I bought my 06 because the dealer gave me a great price on it (worked out to something like $3-4 more a month to get it) when I financed. Mine was certified as well so the first year was covered by Honda directly and I had an additional 2 years from the dealer.
In the first year of ownership I had the s2000 in the shop 3 times for the same issue (misfire) and they did a total of around $4k in work (new plugs, valves, springs, head was refinished, the works) and it was all covered under my Honda warranty. I've yet to use the dealer one I bought and have 1 more year on it, but I'm glad I have it for peace of mind.

I like this idea that has been previously disscussed. Buy a $1300 debit card and secret in/on the car. Your now travelling with insurence that will cover brakes, battery, tires and other parts that wouldn't be covered by warranty.
Insurance companies would love to sell you insurance knowing full well you'll probably never need to use it.
If the car is stolen, simply cancel the card.
