Eyelids
I hate them. They provide ZERO function AND they block some of the light. I never understood the fascination with them. I don't think they make the car look aggressive at all. All they say is, "hey, look, everyone, I just got done shopping at Pepboys."
Please leave them for Civics and Scions.

they were cool back in 2000 when the majority of wild bodykits were cool.
How can Paul S say that they do not make the front appear more aggressive? The eyelids simulate raised eyebrows when someone becomes angry.
The new BMW's granted do not have eyelids but their headlights are shaped aggressively and they look good.
Also, what important portion of the headlight is the eyelid blocking? It blocks the turn signal slightly but it remains clearly visible.
I personally do not own the eyelids but I do not understand the intense dislike for them (Unless they are carbon fiber).
Obviously it's your opinion.
Regarding the raised eyebrows, I was not referring to raised as in surprised or confused. I did not know that I would need to be so detailed in my description of raised.
Also, I don't know what percentage of track junkies would really even care about aesthetics. A track enthusiasts mentality should be geared towards performance, therefore if it is not for function it does not belong.
So yes, you are right, I do feel that it is ridiculous to have such strong emotions about how anybody chooses to modify their cars. There are more important issues that we can be focusing our attention.
It is clearly fruitless to argue about this nonsense anyway so I am done here.
