For f-1 racing fans
Who is planning on watching live into the wee hours vs. waiting for the replay?
When we went to LA on vacation in '00 we went to Speedway Cafe in Newport Beach to watch Suzuka live. This year our vacation is planned around the Montreal GP. My family doesn't understand me/us and our F1 fascination AT ALL, but I know that it's the technology that led to my cool S2K!
Even though we saw it live, we Tivo'd the carnage so we could watch it over tomorrow (I won't give away any results!)
All I can say is thank goodness it's racing season again! ENJOY!!!

That's a talk !!! I enjoy f-1 as much as you...I already have my tickets for the Montreal gp...hope there's no rain...A lot of my friends don't understand why i didn't bought a much muscle car ( mustang-corvette...bla bla bla... )i try to explain why but never had a chance to find the real words....And then you write them !!! ( that it's the technology that led to my cool S2K! )
The feeling to puch an engine to 9000rpm...the feeling to drive a car with a frame so rigid that you sense every feedback the car give you,and i'm not talking about the handling you have behind that steering !!! It's like you are a f1 pilot !!
I enjoy also knowing that it's the most powerfull not turboed or compressed engine ( horses per litre ) in the world !!
And finally, this car is able to race against v8.......
Sorry for all that talk....i love my car and i wanted to share this with you Hehehe bye

(ok, I just started my french classes so I could try and speak french in Montreal ... I have a ways to go!
)What I tell my Nascar fan brother is that without F1 his BMW wouldn't be the performance car he wanted. Nascar doesn't develop roadcars ... F1 (and ALMS and BTCC and Speedvision cup, etc.) brings their technological advances down to roadcars. I read somewhere that Honda engineers HAD to work in the racing division before they began working on Road Cars. I also like in our brochure for the S2000 where it said (paraphrased ... I can't find my brochure) "our competitors said that car companies sometimes build race cars but Honda is a RACING company that happens to produce production cars." That's cool!
Looking forward to a season of good conversation with F1 fans (and meeting some of you in Montreal!)
