Thanks for posting big-jg. I was wondering why my photobucket account suddenly blew up. Someone posted it on digg too. I had to "go pro" on PB for the month... Glad you guys like it. Yes it is a bit of an oddball car, that's why I dig it. I have an LS1 sitting in the shop I could have used but I chose the F20C and I know I don't need to convince you guys as to why.
As for the bracing, trust me I know the importance of bracing before cutting. Take a look at the 69 Tahoe I built (still building).
What you can't really see in any of the pics is that I used the factory jack to support the front before cutting. It "plugs in" to a receptacle that's basically 1"x1" tube extended from the frame. There's one at each corner of the car. I went that route instead of welding in braces because I knew it would be adequate.
Turned out it was not even needed. After cutting the frame on the passenger side I measured the height at the jack receptacle and cranked it down carefully watching for sag (I was curious). The corner didn't sag at all. Not even 1/8" (I didn't have it cranked way up, just lightly supporting to prevent droop). It's that solid because that whole front clip is welded together and the inner/outer fenders plus grille surround and core support are all holding each other in place. Granted I wouldn't dare cut both sides at the same time without some real bracing.
3.73 gears; I figure I'll see how it feels and go from there. It is 700lbs lighter than the S2000 so it might be just right. I only have room for 235's out back anyway. Gear options are a plenty for the Dana 44 so that will be the least of my worries. That rear I picked up has a Trac Lok (Dana LSD) too. But instead of messing with gears maybe I'll just boost it
We'll see.
I'm hoping to tear up the AX in it this summer. You guys will def be hearing more from me (questions) when I get closer to firing it up and tweaking in the AEM.

Thanks guys. I wasn't sure how the Honda community would take to rebadging their iconic F20C, but you guys are cool as expected. I think it helps that Sunbeam is not a current marque. If I were to rebadge it as a Mazda, for example, I expect things would get ugly fast.
What's the consensus on crank-case breathers? I like the look of the cone style as pictured. Who makes these/where to buy/which is best? I see the K&N's on ebay...
