Default FActory Ties in the SNOW!!! Plz Respond!!!

I just got my s2 and drove it home yestday(in Chicago), it has about 57 k on it and I notice that the ties are so horrible, so slippery in the snow and when the ground was slightly wet. Is this normal or did i just get some messed up tires???

Or is it time for new tires? Do you guys have the same problem with these tires?

The factory s02's are not good in the snow. They are really summer only (s0) tires. If the car has 57k then they have to be the 3rd-6th set of tires for that car. Many people have purchased blizzaks to keep the car well planted in the winter.

The stock S02 tires are for Summer Only, hence the S0,

You should look into Blizzaks, try the search feature

Blizzaks! or any dedicated snow tires are mush for our cars.

Heck, I am actually going to use performance all season tires during the summer time as well. SO2s are scary tires.
Ideal condition for the tires are hot sunny sticky road days.

Honestly, besides those in CA and FL, who gets ideal wheather all year around?

Anyways, if anyone wants S02 with less than 2000miles, please PM me.
