I say if you can get $21k out of it do it! $22k still isn't bad, just see if you can haggle down a little. Don't try to pull the last minute $2.5k off and I'll take it blurb. I've been trying that and let at least 2 S2k's I really wanted get sold to someone else.

I just bought my '06 GPW with 35.5k miles, OEM spoilers, wheels, hks exhaust, ipod hookup, etc. for $21k from a private party. Dealers seem to want around $24k for that kind of car and aren't budging much. Also considering I only wanted GPW, there were only 3 in a 100 mile radius on autotrader, so when this deal came I bit the bullet and pulled the trigger (considering my budget was $20k).

So I say go for it if you're fine with it. It's a pretty good deal so now it lies on your budget!

All of the listings in my area are either way out of my budget or does not have a clean carfax, so I figured BB is cool as well.

Anyways going to pick up the car tomorrow morning, final deal is $20.5K, I guess hello to S2KI then.
