It's been for sale at a dealership in Florida for quite awhile...
has 200 miles on it so I'd think it's classified as used.

I offered the sales manager NADA figures for my trade and
their retail..but he told me to take a hike!

He did wish me luck though...told him I'll check back right
before it heads to auction.

I don't know if i recall correctly, but at one point i think it was listed near or over 40k.

Saw that one at the dealership. It's gonna be a while before that one sells, I forgot how much on top of sticker they were asking, but there is actually an addendum sticker on it.

 

NADA retail is $28,925. I offered $28,500.
NADA trade is $16,825. I wanted $17,000.

I don't think my offer was "crazy" or "outrageous"!

can still drive off in an '06 Rio Yellow S with 41K miles..

My only reason to purchase anyway is the CR suspension
and CR hardtop.

 

$28500-$17000=$11500, pretty pricey hardtop and springs.

Just because it has 200 miles doesn't mean it's "used." The difference is warranty. There's no point in lamenting it. You offered a fair price and they didn't bite. You can't make anyone do anything.

I bought my CR new with 31 miles on it 11 months ago for less than that. Others paid less than I did. There were other dealers that were charging more... their inventory is now sold, so we both won. Remember, it only takes one sucker to make their day...
