... is this movie so stupid? Does it get any better?

The opening scenes are a truck getting high jacked by a bunch of ricers, suddenly the 18 wheeler has lost one of it's set of wheels on the trailer and has a nice guard in it's place to keep the civic or whatever from getting run over when it goes underneath. Next scene the wheels are back! Wow, great edit. I also liked the first drag race and the mitsu showing up with one of it's hoses dragging on the ground, anyway that race must have lasted like 5 miles so they can get up to 160, punch some stuff up on the laptop and go through 2 bottles of N02. i bailed after this, am i missing anything? Where's the "S"?

It was one of the worst. But I think the one with the bikes; "torque" i think, was worse than that. Ahh the glory days of the Cannonball Run...

Probably not. I heard it was pink anyway. I got halfway through the first one and and didn't even bother with the second. I didn't even want to go near the theaters b/c of all the ricers that think superman after the movie.

Tons of the footage was complete BS. That one scene where the cop guy was racing vin deisel in the RX-7 was crap. My brother had a 94 RX-7 R2 and said that it took way less time to get to 120 or whatever they were doing. They punch the double NOS buttons and half an hour later he's still just climbing over 100 and in reality would have been in the next state.


AHHHHHHH! Why am I even talking about this? I had it out of my head for so long.

I figured it was something i should watch because now that i have an "S" every one with a honda something with coffee can on the exhaust or ironing board on the trunk wants to race me. Had no idea it was so bad, but was in it for the "S" footage. All well back to Netflix it goes.

 

The S2000 is only in it for a couple of minutes. The evil Asian bad guy racing in his S2000 beats the brilliant but retarded good White guy in his Jetta. They were racing for slips. Good guy welches and runs away, but the evil Asian guy blasts him with an uzi from a moving motorcycle. See? A happy ending.
