The image below was a design that we wanted to appeal to all enthusiasts, from JDM purists, to show enthusiasts, to people who enjoy anything that is modified.
I'm an enthusiast and I don't consider myself part of any of those groups.

I will say that I appreciate the car for what it is. It looks like you met and exceeded your goals. My goals are just different.

Geez why do they have to portray everythign so riced out movies. I guess it's all for show, might as well having an asian guy with 3 foot long spiked hair and pant legs bigger than their shoes with gold chains on getting out of them (kind of like how I was in high school, embarassing I know)... sighhh

I think that car would look great without the flashy paint and decals and some decent wheels. Why can't these movies have cleanly modded imports, especially when they have those beastly muscle cars.
Neither of these two cars suits my tastes, and I would never mod my own S like them, but nevertheless, I think it's the correct choice to make for the movie. Having ridiculously riced out cars is what defines the entire F&F series. It's what people are going to the theaters to watch.

The first movie was basically a two hour ricefest, but that's really what made it so great, and so classic. Yes, "cleanly" modded cars look much better, but they also make the movie a lot more boring to watch.

The real car:
things I dont like (just my two cents sir):

1) Rear quarter panels: the vents, I know its functional but body colored might look better
2)color of the car...Im a white/black/silver/green guy. diff strokes for diff folks
3) front bumper..little too agressive, no fmic to offset the huge gap?
4) side mirrors....I dislike those peggy looking ones. stock ftw?

I like the widebody, its clean, not too busy (compared with other widebody kits). I wish the door flowed a bit nicer and that vent from front fenders was smaller/less noticeable. I dig the SC, the AP1 headlights (i always liked the ap1 more..less busy looking, again) and the HT!.

just what I think, not that you should care..its your car

I agree. In a sense, the double that was used was a replica or "knock off" for lack of a better word. IMO, the authentic piece is always better in every way .

Just out of curiousity, how do you like the Toyo R1-R? I am considering purchasing those wheels but I am curious as to whether or not the grip you receive is worth the sacrifice in tread ware.

its ok... i want more grip though
