judge the real car please... not the double

I dislike the Hardtop, Mirrors, and Headlights.

I am not a big fan of the widebody either.

I do like the color a lot

I'm sure a lot of us have gotten to see Fast and Furious by now, and unfortunately I'm sure you noticed that our s2000s were pretty much totally cut out of the movie. Anyhow, I just wanted to share with you the real car that was put together for the movie, along with the car double that was used.

The real deal

The double

Immediately one can notice how much better the paint is on the real one. Sure, the lighting conditions are not the same, but the quality difference is quite apparent. Keep in mind that the original car was designed by Bulletproof, but the body double had last minute changes. They changed the mirrors for different ones, slapped on some different rims, added strange interior modifications, and removed the clear light diffusers. The vinyl was utilized to go with the whole Fast and Furious franchise theme.

More info can be found on Ben's blog: http://www.bespokeventures.com/blog/2009/0...de-perspective/

I haven't seen it yet, but damn, I was going to go b/c I wanted to see the S in the movie. Forget Vin Diesel, I guess I'll watch it on DVD now.

now that them movie is out, im sure some of you should re think what y'all said.

I wonder why they cut the S2ks out. Woulda been better than that ugly ass M5 or the G35... of course the skyline wins my heart every time

I saw the BulletProof car in the "making of" thing they had on TV. It's downloadable if you want to check it out. They briefly show the convoy scene in the desert but it has some very different cars in it.

I'm still not sure why there were so many domestics compared to imports. Is the domestic crowd really a demographic that would watch that movie?
