Lemme see if I can do some quick calculations here:

Method as presented here -
(Assume you are rolling)
1. Lift foot off gas - 0.76 calories.
2. Lift other foot off dead pedal - 0.76 cal.
3. Push down on clutch - 1.07 cal.
4. Push down on brake - 1.02 cal.
5. Use arm to steer car out of stream of traffic - 0.28 cal.
6. Pull up e-brake - 0.54 cal.
7. Push top power button forward and hold - 0.33 cal.
8. Use arm to activate signal to enter back into traffic - 0.24 cal.
9. Use other arm engage 1st gear - 0.67 cal.
10. Modulating left foot on clutch - 1.89 cal.
11. Lifting right foot off brake - 0.76 cal.
12. Modulating right foot on gas - 1.22 cal.
13. Turn head to do quick shoulder check - 1.55 cal.
13. Grouping together all feet and hand motions to upshift back to original speed - 4.17 cal.
GRAND TOTAL: 15.26 Calories.
(I'm leaving out any calories consumed if one should choose to downshift when coming to a stop.)

The "old" way -
(Assume you are rolling)
1. Move left hand to power window buttons, push and hold BOTH - 0.44 cal.
2. Put left hand back to where it started from - 0.25 cal.
GRAND TOTAL: 0.67 cal.

(OK, giving these numbers the due thought they deserve ...... OK, done!)
NAH!, the "old" way takes less engergy.

Calories burned up making this post - 17.83 calories.
Going to take a nap now. I'm BEAT!

yeah i think only 02's have the window problem i.e. MYSELF!
hopefully honda will fix it.
the s2k windows go down fairly quickly i noticed, but could be cause my car was new and b/c the windows are so small!
what do you do when you're driving and wanna put both windows down... pull over, put ebrake up and press the roof button forward? LOL!
i just don't get why more expensive cars (such as ours) don't have auto up/down for both freaken windows!
