please USE THE SEARCH BUTTON.

to answer your question and get this stupid thread shut down, AP1 (year 99-03) and AP2 (year 04 +)

the AP1 rev's to 9K rpm and does not have so much torque as the AP2

The AP2 rev's to 8K rpm and has the same amount of HP maybe a little more.

in a race AP1 v's AP2 it HAS BEEN PROVEN that both are as quick as each other.

the early AP1's 99-00 you want to stay clear of as they have a plastic rear window, the 02 + have glass rear window

im not sure on 01's

I'm not sad at all, the car getting cheaper allowed me to buy one without needing a loan. Seems pointless complaining about it, if exclusivity is your concern, just buy another vehicle. The rest of us will enjoy it for what it is... a great car for a reasonable price.
