Faux Performance Mods

Unfortunately they closed down BridgeHampton (The Bridge) Racetrack which is a damn shame and another story so track days are not so easy to do for us Long Islanders anymore.
But I was the first person to autocross an S2000 on Long Island (a year ago) and won my class on street tires and no mods.
BTW I do not agree that this car is is a faux performance mod unless you go to the track.
For my money this car is best experienced on a crisp Kodachrome Autumn day with the top down, your Baby next to you, luggage for a long weekend in the trunk on deserted twisty mountain roads under a canopy of foliage with rays of sunlight streaming through the leaves reflecting off the Zymol and the echo of the engine reflected back from the rock walls.

Look beig, you don't want to modify your car.. we all understand that.
Are you just trying to let the new members in, on you close minded views or is not modifying your car the only thing your pea-brain can come up with to post about?
enough already.. To each thier own.
Now shut it, unless you have something NEW to say.
IMFO as always.

Here's a little tip for you, when you see my name originating a post DON'T READ IT. This way you won't get your panties in a bunch.
I think the "Pea Brain" comment constitutes a personal attack. Moderator?
Who voted you arbitrator of what people can talk about around here? There is more than one school of thought around here on the topic and too bad you don't like it.
Lastly, it is considered poor form to call names online that you wouldn't have the balls to say to a person face to face.

I saw this S the other day with this front bar with vents on either side below the headlights. On closer inspection these weren't vents at all, but false openings meant to look like vents.
What a ricer!

[B]You know;
Big rear wings that actually slow the car down.
Stickers
Stick-On Carbon fiber bits.
"Aero-Kits"
Cold Air Induction kits that suck in hot air.
Wheel and tire sets that decrease the rear wheel HP.
Brake calipers that actually stop worse than stock
Exhausts that weigh and perform about the same as stock but SOUND faster.
Suspension mods way too low and stiff to handle real roads.
Anyone else have some favorites?
What ever happened to "sleepers"

I see you are one of those that don't read too carefully.
Re-read my posts and see if what you posted earlier makes any sense.
If you think that 20HP is all you can get out of your car without going FI, then kudos to you, and even if I think you're wrong I don't see how this fact contributes to the discussion. However, if I were you I would read, and re-read, my posts in regards to your comments. In any case, I'm sure you like your car the way it is and have no intention to do anything to it. Good luck in the future...
