Default FDR pothole

I hit the worst pothole in 22 months of s2k ownership yesterday southbound on the FDR just before the Brooklyn Bridge, left lane (maybe it was a trench!). I parked and checked visually tires, rims, etc,... Car felt fine, no pulling or strange sounds. How are the stock rims for impact resistance? Suspension and front end?
I'll be checking tire pressure carefully for the next few days...

I would think you'd have to whack something pretty good to harm the suspension or hit something solid under the car (deer, elk, mule, etc.), never hurts to check it out though.

It was the worst bone jarring jolt - I'll have my mechanic put it on the lift to check it out...

you could've jacked the rim. might be worth pulling the tire off it and putting it on one of those spin-balancers.
