With the Feel's you're paying for name, fit and rarity. I can onlt think of of one or two other people that have them.
700 bucks for install and paint is about right, if you go to a good shop i.e. a shop that has experience with body kits, and blends. It cost over a grand for skirts, lip.

To give you an idea, I paid $1015 to have my bumper, Airwalker lip & Airwalker side skirts painted.

Without the bumper re-painted, the quote was around $700.

Your guy is ripping you off, there is absolutely no reason to pay $700 for installation. In fact there is no reason why you can't install these yourself if you are careful. 3+3 is overkill on the paint as well.

700 just for the install on top of the equipment price?

That's boarderline outrageous. I don't see a specific need to get any paint matching done that is of higher quality than the cars paint job itself. Pearled paints can be very tricky to match well and sometimes that deserves the extra attention but most of the s2k colors would seem fairly straight forward to me.

I guess the only way to tell is to look at their work and decide if its worth it vs. taking your chances with another shop.
Dan, I don't know what the shop situation is like there, but around my area, there are only a couple of good shops. The good ones are pricey. On the other hand, the other shops are cheaper, but their work looks like garbage after a couple of months.

700 bucks is to prep the sideskirts (something that sounded strange because the sideskirts doesnt seem to need any), 3 coats of paint, 3 coats of clear coat and installation. Matching guaranteed.
