Guys,

I am looking to buy an '04 next month. How is the tire wear compares to the '00-03? I thought the earlier year models were horrible. All the cars I test driven had really worn tires at 8-10K.

Also, I never had a chance to drive the S2000 on the freeway. Do they handled really well? I cannot wait!!! The last sports cars I owned were a 1987 Z and 1986 RX7.

15,385 miles on MY02 and still alot of meat left.

 

The MY04 have the same wear rating as previous years, they should wear no more, no less than the S02. However the tread depth on the front's is 9/32 new while the rear is 10/32 new. Since the rears wear more than the front's it is presumed that this was done so that all tires will have the same amount of wear when checked.

Rear tires: at wear bars need replacement, handles poorly on wet or damp roads.
Front tires: at least 5K miles left
