Default Fender Liner Cracking

I have had my 05 S2000 for a couple of months now and I am already having a problem with my fender liner cracking. It is on the passenger side front wheel well and the liner is cracking from where the second screw is in. It appears it was screwed in too tight and it is cracking as a result. This was definitely from the factory and I am hoping that it will be covered by my warranty.
Has anybody had this problem before? If so, did Honda take care of it? After reading all of the horror stories of people's cars coming out of the dealerships with more damage than they came in with, I would just rather replace the part myself, providing they pay for the part. It appears that it drops down in 3 sections, so I am assuming that you just remove the passenger front wheel, pop out the clips, unscrew everything then drop it down and slide the new one in, or do you need to remove the whole bumper cover?
Thanks in advance for your advice.

I am glad to hear that the dealer took care of it for you, hopefully mine will do the same.
