Default Fender Tips

Hey everybody, I have been doing a lot of research on lowering and different rim/tire sizes.
But what are your guys' opinions on flaring fenders?
Is it necessary?
Can you buy aftermarket fenders already flared?
What are the rear fender fittings i see on some cars?

Post up your flared fenders (preferably with rim/tire size)
Or after market flares.
Also any how to's or helpful threads.

I know there are videos out there on how to do it, but post some that have helped you, or you know are good.
This could help people that are looking to lower but aren't sure as to whether or not they can.

(also sorry if this isn't in the right section)

EDIT: Also front lips, your guys' opinions on them, which are better/cheaper/Ap1 vs Ap2 etc.

There are a few threads here with DIY on flaring fenders.

There is also at least one thread showing the steps of cutting and adding aftermarket fender flares.

You have to cut them?

Also the point of this was to possibly put it all in one thread for anybody looking to do it.
Might be easier to get info if its all in one place

I know that was your point, but you'll have to do some of the leg work to make that happen.

For me, it was easier to use the SEARCH function and find what I needed when I needed it rather than ask for help and wait.

you asked for my opinion, so.. IMO, they are a waste of money unless you're modding for stance/hellaflush.

but in all honestly, when pulled off right... it looks sick as hell.

not really. depends on the wheel offset and wheel width and tire size that you choose.

sometimes a simple fender roll with a baseball bat and heat gun will make it ok.

yes.

a lot of people run the ASM rear overfender. not sure what you see on "some cars" but there is normally extensive body work required.

just depends what you are looking for and what your budget is.
