Actually Rick had a thread thinking about making one. It would be too difficult because of the short throws of the s2000.

The idea was disscussed a while back. Most people decided that it really wouldn't look to great cause of how the shift lever looks on our car and it wouldn't work to well with how much our shifter vibrates.

I think the main issue was the fact that our shifter gets really think in diameter right below the shift knob. Too big for a gate.

I once had a summer job at Luigi Chinetti in Greenwich, CT. Have you ever actually driven a Ferrari with the metal shift gate - it is no picnic, you have to be dead on. It does look cool, but I personally would not want one unless the V-12 was part of the package.
