Default A few problems...NEED SOME HELP PLEASE!

Well, as of today I rolled over the 50k mark in my 2001 S2000. I've into a few problems, and I'm wondering where you suggest I get them fixed. I'm located in Alexandria, VA...but I'm willing to take a day off and drive to a good dealship to get the work done. Here's the problems I'm having:

1) Softtop leaks around the edges of the windows. I was told I needed new window seals, but that was $500 parts/labor. Should warrenty cover this? Is there a TSB for it?

2) Is there a TSB for the '01 plastic rear window? What needs to be wrong in order for warrenty to replace it? Can the whole top be replaced...and upgraded to a '02 or '03 top?

3) Whats the TSB for the "dragging/grinding" noise when you slow down in grear; the noise seems to be coming from the tranny? I've read there is a TSB, but my local H dealership doesn't seem to know what I'm talking about when I say "TSB".

Lastly: Whats the best way to see if you need the "vavle adjustment"? My F20 seems to make a decent amount of "clicking" while driving. I'm told its worse to have a bad adjustment, then it is to no adjust it at all. What should I do?

With that being said, which dealership would be most likely to help me out? Are there any other common TSB's among us '01 owners?

Thanks very much!
Steven

P.S. I've recently developed a small squeak that occurs when your stop on the gas. It doesn't happen any other time...only when pressure is aplied to the gas. Is it a belt? Stick TB? Should the timing belt be checked? Thanks!

should be able to change to an 02... and for the rear... could be a loose thread... or leaks from that area... i'm guessing tsb is warrenty... but if it's not then... i don't know. yes you need new windows seals or everytime you open your door push your window seals out alittle... that's what i did... but mine was not major

Grease the rubber around your windows and get a valve adjustment. I wouldn't recommend the dealer because at least in my area the have no idea how to work on S2000's. They gave me a bad valve adjustment and It made the car worse and slow , then I took it to a local race shop and had it done right. The Honda dealers in my area have great customer service and crappy mechanics IMO.

Hygiene boy: Your so right. The dealers around here are great, but kinda don't know how to work on S2K's.

I'm going to see if I can get a valve adjustment done somewhere other than the dealer. I hear no adjustment is better than a bad adjustment.

Talk to Poindexter. He's a big wig over at one of the big dealers in VA, I think.
