I did a search but didn't find any comprehensive instructions on installing these things.

I did find the page on s2ki (https://www.s2ki.com/faqs/faq_airhorn.php) that shows a rough overview, but alas it seems to refer to a few things that make me wonder if I'm missing something. Main example is that there is mention of a Y connector, presumably so the compressor can blow air to multiple air horns.... however the air horn kit I just got doesn't come with any Y connectors of any kind, only the 3 horns, the compressor, a relay, and a longish tube.

Considering that I don't know the first thing about relays and "good" electrical work, am I better off having a dealer (Weseloh) install this for me? Otherwise it'd be nice to do the install myself, for the experience and satisfaction of doing it myself. Any opinions much appreciated! Thanks

If you do not have a black "pitch fork" connector, you are missing a piece. It has one inlet that some of the plasti tubing goes to. It then has three outputs that you use some of the tubing on to connect to each individual trumpet. I'm still trying to find a good place to mount mine.

I have the blazer made by Federal Mogul. But the compressor and the instructions say FIAMM, which I assumed it would. If you buy any air horn, there is a 99.9% chance that it is made by FIAMM. Go into any auto store and you will see the same compressor for all models and makes. In some cases, the horns might be a little different. Usually it is just a different color though. The equivalent model that FIAMM has to the Blazer I have is the EFT/3

Your welcome. As I said, all of the air horns I have ever seen are made by FIAMM, no matter what it says on the packaging. You can tell just be looking, they are all the same design. The part numbers are almost useless. You can get the Blazers at Autozone or Pep Boys. These kits have all you need, including the relay. Make sure you get the "new" compressor design. They should be blue trumpets and the compressor should have a blue top as well. Some of the oler designs were all metal and had a poor mounting point. All they did was add a platic cap for mounting, the rest of it is exactly the same. I really wanted the balck though, but oh well.

Spray paint 'em before installing if you don't want them to be noticeable.

Try Autozone, Pep Boys, etc. Any good auto store will have a selection of horns.
