the Fiero might possibly be the finest engineered, most powerful and neutral handling car ever created. the only vehicle with more notoriety would be a Subaru Brat... maybe even a Suzuki Samurai, but that would be a stretch.

unless you're this guy.... this was taken at Street Dreams 2 in Detroit... really cool older dude.... this is extreme! V8 Northstar motor with, i believe, a 100 shot! complete with overhaul in suspension to handle to insane power and weight

I have owned 2 separate Fiero's. An 88 4-cyl, and an 85 V6. LOVED THOSE CARS. I wish I still had them around! And that 140hp V6 had 170lb-ft of torque which in that small car meant it was WAY faster off the line than most cars, and the layout of the car made it a very fun handler as well. I took it autocrossing a couple times, and I always made a habit of driving around the empty parking lots where I was dorming during my college days. A spartan car that has a special place in my heart. A well-taken care of Fiero can quickly turn into a piece of junk though, unfortunately!

I also rode in one of those 3.8L supercharged Fieros... and man did that thing rip!

funny guy. I think he's right about the s2k's crappy 6 speed getting its ass kicked by one of GM's wonderful slushboxes on a roadcourse. :holdingbacklaugh:

Hottest Fieros I ever saw were the ones burning along the side of the highway. They did have a tendency to do this.
