Default Final Gear

So I am leaking at staying NA and want to change my final gear as the last installment on the car.

My question is, which would be better for low endacceleration 4.56 or 4.77?

I have heard that with the 4.77 you lose your top end completely. And your top MPH is only 130-140. but can really take off in 1st and 2nd!

But I have heard that 4.56 is an all around acceleration enhancer. What yall have to say? Views, comments and even a little hate mail can go a long way on this topic

with 4.77 you loose like 7 mph off your top end but they do offer the fastest acceleration out of all other gears....do a search theres a post on gears everyday.....

Hey dick there is such places known as raceways. And i really dont want to lose all the fun of high speeds on VIR to a gear set. Check yourself.

go with the 4.56...i think they are good for fwy and stop light to stop light...you get the best of both worlds..

i have a 4.56 on my 03 ap1(daily) and 4.44 on my tracked/touge ap2....
4.77 in my opinion is a little over kill for my situation cause i live on fwy driving..i drive 80-100miles a day and 4.77 isnt really a choice and the fwys on my area wer empty most of the time (palm desert area), atleast during the times i commute, so i get to run 100mph and up a lot....

I dont think the S2k can reach those speeds on a road course... (VIR even?)

I am using 4.77 and rpm is alot higher than 4.10 but i rarely go on highway. Locally you are fine. Accerlation is really good.
If i get to choose again, I would go with the same route again.
