Love my 4.77's. That's all the info you get.

I just can't do these threads anymore when the EXACT question has been asked dozens, if not over a hundred times

you live in mid-a where a lot of people are running the 4.77s. you should post locally and see if anyone is willing to let you test it out. i'd let you drive my car but i have the supercharger as well so it won't be a good gauge.

1. Appreciate the thought.
2. Looked a the gear calculator, and was surprised that the numbers weren't for off from each other in comparing the 4.10 against the 4.44, or the 4.44 against the 4.77 in gears 1-3.
3. To sum to up using rough figures, the gain that you get going from 4.10 to 4.44 is gained again by going from 4.44 to 4.77, or you could say the 4.77 gain is twice that of 4.44 compared to the 4.10.
4. Again, roughly, the 4.44 cuts off 5 mph from shifting points in gears 1-3, and the 4.77 cuts off 10 mph from the shifting points.

5. I just noticed the tire size was based on the 16 in., so all my figures are off

Your bumping 6 year old threads with little content in them.........Just do it already:

You can have it done in an afternoon. Add a Yellow Box (whatever they're called) and you're done. If you don't like it you tear it out and sell it.
