Barry-

I've used my OBDII mostly on my Odyssey to debug a problem. I plugged it in once to the S2000 just for the cool factor. On the Odyssey, OBDII will display Intake Air Temp (IAT) and Engine coolant temp (ECT). I don't know how calibrated those values are, but in theory they are used in the ECU for engine management.

So, oil temp and pressure are not part of OBDII.

BTW, an oil pressure gauge is great for letting you know you're down even a little bit of oil. At idle, the pressure is so low that +/- quart of oil doesn't change the indication much. At speed, 1/2 a quart will change the reading a couple of PSI. It takes a few weeks to figure out what the engine's baseline is. After that, you will know how much oil you've got just by looking at the gauge.

Rick -

I'm going to use this opportunity to stand on my soap box and scream a bit more.

I want to personally thank you again for your enthusisam for this little car that we all love, for your excellent range of products, for your world class customer support, and for your history of sharing cool little projects like this.

You and your company are excellent examples of the best of this board.

I've got your leather shifter sock, shift boot, and console cover and very heartily recommend them to anyone. You offer a fantastic service at a very fair price to all of us.

My hat is off to you.

PS - In case anyone is suspicous of my enthusiasm, I've never met Rick, don't get anything from him, and don't expect to. I honestly appreciate his services and want to do my part to help good businesses continue to prosper.
