Nice pics, Jay !

Do you have any pics after the removal of this windshield tape ? I have been following that thread and I still don't know what exactly it is. I imagine mine is still on, unless the dealer removed it for me. I know I haven't remove any tape. Thanks

mister_two, I don't have any pics of the tape removed from my car, but picture this: the frame is currently black...without the tape, it's silver. Some people don't like it, I think it really gives the car a cleaner look.

Jay - I have to agree on the tape. It goes along with the top (when its up in your garage that is) a lot better. However, on carpoint.msn.com, I do recall their spa yellow having the tape removed and it did look very nice. With the red, I'm sure I'll keep the tape on there.

nice color choice, Jay, now you just have to paint the wheels matt black, and remove the front spoiler and rear wing, and your car will look perfect, just like mine...

BTW, nice background...America!!

Congrats..Jay

I think the factory ground effects gives the car a more agressive look, particularly in the front. I am leaving my windshield tape on, basically keeping the car the way it came from the factory...only adding the full floor mats, leather console cover and matching boot from Rick. The mats are a necessary addition to hide the cheap carpet and to keep the carpet on the hump from wearing out.

The perfect solution to the windshield tape dilemma...

buy a black car

Nice pics! Congrats on the new car. Keep the shiny side up (and for our rain challenged drivers, thats the top side)
