man, ive been drooling over this car ever since i read about the ssm........ and now i will be driving my dream in less than or up to a month.... the wait is killing me.... but soon ill be the owner of a grand prix white s2k =), i hope ill be accepted into the family with open arms..im so damn excited to get the car, may sound shallow.. but i cant wait to get compliments ...... hmm 1 quick question........


i was at the dealership and saw a silverstone s2k........ then i saw it.. and me and my brother were both confused by it... the shifter only had up to 5th gear?.... thats wierd.. i never heard of a 5 speed s2k.. could this have been the wrong shift knob mounted onto the car?.. i never heard of them offering the s2k with only 5 speeds...

 

Only come in 6 speed version.

 

happens all the time, since the dealerships prep folks aren't always the sharpest tools in the shed. It just the wrong knob on the car you saw. When I took delivery they had a leather civic knob on my car. I explained to them that it should have 6 gears and they insisted I was wrong. So I actually had to have them call the dealership to confirm (I picked it up from the prep place as soon as it got off the truck so nobody could joy ride).
