Finally got my 2K3 Spa!!!
Well, the delivery date came and I finally picked up my newest addition. 2003 Spa Yellow S2k with 8 miles on the clock. Took me less then 45 mins to get everything taken care of and the keys in my hand. Here are some pix of him at todays auto-x...and no despite the begging of a few other members, he didnt run.....
Let me just say this. After I drove this, I definately do not regret my decision on selling/parting out my 91 MR2T. I have had so many comments on it and have heard so many people say "oh $h!t!! Check that out!". It is just unbelievable on how much attention the yellow gets. That can be good but bad in its own way
a few of the local Auto-X'rs got a peek at it today at the auto-x, but other then that, it has been cruising around getting broken in properly, (now at 380 miles). Cant wait til I can actually "drive" it , and it's not like I have to worry about it blowing
Well, back to breaking it in

I would say welcome to the family, but I guess I can't because I lost my s2k in an accident, and my current financial situation didn't and still won't permit me to get another one.
Anyway, I have to say it is totally true about the color factor. I had a Phoenix Yellow Integra Type R, and 9 months later I got my 2002 Sebring Silver Metallic S2000. I wanted yellow again but there were no other colors in stock and I didn't want to wait, not to mention that the dealership could not order a color...so they say. The silver was still nice, but I didn't get near as many looks as I did in my Type R. Not saying that the R doesn't deserve it, because it was a work of art also, but I was just a little shocked.
Not that it really matters now because I am just upset that I basically had my dream car(might be overstated to some people), and wrecked it by being stupid. I only got to drive it for 8 months(I lost it Sept. of 2002), but I can remember owning it vividly. Once my situation improves to the point of affording another S2000 I will do whatever I can to get it, and I will do almost as much to get a yellow one.
Hopefully within the next 6 months you all can welcome me back.
Congrats on the purchase, I envy all s2k owners...again. Good luck with the ride.
Peace,
Bri

Congrats Quik. The S2k is a great car, and your color choice is also a great pick. Im sure you'll have a blast driving the car with the top down. What a wonderful feeling.

Now you'll know what it means to "have fun." Congradulations, keep it under 5500 RPM for the first 600 miles, don't jam on the brakes and check your oil often.

congrats! I just got my 2000 Silverstone last weekend. I wanted yellow, but couldn't afford a newer model year. Mine only has 23k on it, so it's in good shape.
Good job and keep the revs down (for now) !
