Thats absolutely stunning. Great pictures. I have a Black one and this makes me want to get one. Living in CA though it may be a waste. Thanks for posting them.

How did you make the bracket? I'm required to have a parking sticker on the rear bumper or window or face the wrath of the campus nazi's.

I went to a local hardware shop (like Home Depot) and picked up an aluminum door sill nosing (I think it was for a door!) as seen here:

I cut it with a hacksaw, sanded the rough edges down including the sharp corners, then proceeded to sand down the face of it where you see the grooves. You don't need to sand the grooves down to do this as it's very time consuming. I drilled two holes in it, lined it up with the bumper and drilled holes in the bumper. Here's the results:

can you post pics of the car w/o the hardtop on? I'd like to see what the car looks like with the latches in place. I'm having a hard time picturing it.

Also, what is that sticker on you muffler for?

There is nothing different about the way the car looks without the hard top unless you get real close. I don't have any pictures with it off since I had the top installed, but it looks the same as before. The latches are a part of the hard top. The new striker assembly that the front latches attach to are different, but you really can't see the difference. The rear side catchers for the rear latches are not really visable either. Look at the installation instructions in one of my previous posts to really see what's going on.

This sticker is a safety check (see above reply) and is attached to the bumper and not the muffler.
