A guy who works at a local Honda dealership said he was informed that S2000 production will end in Feb 09 so assuming that, all further sales will simply be of whatever is left of the inventory.

at least i've got mine already.... if not, i'll just pick up a few used ones in the future.

but i didnt even know there were 09 s2000's!! i though 08 was the last year.

 

Wow I was a mix of happy/sad when I read this. Sad for the end of a great Honda sportscar era, happy that they finally stopped production after 9 long years. I would imagine an Apex Blue CR with A/C and audio would be a keeper in the future .

 

I feel pretty much the same as everyone else. It was time for this to happen, and I'm both happy and sad.

Though, this does make me want to get another one. Maybe some day I'll have two.

 

You call 10 years of production "limited?"

 

Maybe someone should place an order for this 2010 S2000, it will be a collectors item!

I read about this in Automotive News today, so I had to come back to s2ki to check in.

This news makes me sad. I would have liked to see Honda continue changing and evolving the S2000 (however slowly) for years to come.

Fortunately my ap1 is still going strong.
