There probably are but I doubt any of them have nearly as much pull as he did or else the successors to the NSX and S2000 would've stood a better chance of surviving.

Yeah, he was with Honda for what, 40 years, and had ranked high up before he got to do the NSX, and he was Honda's "sports car expert". I don't see others at Honda management sharing his enthusiasm for sports cars from what other products we've seen. I think they lean more towards sporty versions of their more staid cars, like pumping of the Civic for Type-x duty or Si duty, the Mugen parts, etc.

Based on VIN numbers, mine is the 144th S2000 sold in the US. I wonder how many of the first 143 are left? Any way I can find out?

At least we don't have to split this forum up into sub-categories (ie. different generations, like for the Civic, TL, etc...).

i feel like i should go buy another s2k ontop of my current one. i love these cars. i just wanna buy one and store it w/ a tarp over it and store it in my garage... numbers matching of course muhahaha
