Not bad, but... strictly from the photos, not sure if I'd be willing to give up looks so much for straight-out performance gains that these rims offer.

I think TE-37s in 17s are a good compromise.

Post some info on how the car feels after the change.

Thanks for the pics, fellas.

A couple more:

If you look past the ninja, you will see my car...

Notice the greenish tint color of the Regamasters.

It feels quicker, but that might be my money talking.

Jimmy, the black civic hatch w/ CRV engine, and I ran a few times tonight. Basically, the same results as before, since we all have the same rims. Jimmy pulls slightly on me. He has the MG Racing CAI, Amuse exhaust, and Toda flywheel.

I will like to test my car against a stock S2000, but remember, different engines might produce more/less hp. For instance, (hypothetically) if some stock S2000 raced me and we are even, then that doesn't necessary mean the rims were ineffective. That stock S2000 might be a ringer and put out 210 to the wheel, while mine puts out around 200. (i'm just saying, i haven't dynoed it yet) I would like test out a car I ran before I put on my rims. For instance, Insomniak. That would be a more effective way of telling.

BTW, any current model D/FW Mustang GTs (stock) or WRXs interested in a run?

My 4th gear pulled a lil harder considering it was off by 7degrees. Anyhow, no more racing with yall. I know who is going to win. Jimmy, did you take driving lessons or something??

Damn, Migs sure knows how to take pics. You like my ninja Quan? ...It bobs it's head up & down to the beat of my music (Ok, more like bobbing it's head up & down when I go over a bump in the road )

Stats: Regamaster Evo f: 16x7 (45mm offset) w/BF-Goodrich KDW 215/50/16 & r: 16x8 (45 mm offset) w/BF-Goodrich KDW 245/45/16
(All at 32 psi) oem rims & tires weight (at time of mounting & balancing new rims & tires): f: 40 pounds r: 43 pounds
Rega rims & tires f: 34 pounds r: 39 pounds
Rega rims f: 11.x pounds r: 12.x pounds

Anyway, the short version...I'm very satisfied w/my Rega rims.

Long version...At first, I wasn't sure about the color combination (silver s2k w/gun metal rims w/a slight green tint), however the more I look at them on my car, the more I like them. I can easily tell a difference when I drive. When I'm just cruising, if I just mash on the accelerator, it feels as if the car jumps forward easier, like a quicker reaction. It's easier to turn also due to the front wheels being much lighter now.

When I'm turning, I can go into the turn w/a quicker speed full of confidence not only b/c of new tires, but also b/c of the wider stance now. The car looks more like a race-car now. Although, I'm going to have to drop it (Mingster or David, hook me up on some coilovers or springs).

There's only one problem w/the whole setup...I bought the hub rings from Mingster & when we tried to put the rims on, only one of the two will fit (hub ring or spun center cap). I tried both ways & to be honest, i can't tell a difference w/the hub rings on & off. So, I just used the center caps. Besides, it was absolutely hideous w/o them on, especially the fronts.

Any recommendations for me as to which way to lower the car? I want to be able to drive on a daily basis w/o bouncing all over the place due to lowering it. I don't autocross, however I'm a "spirited driver" . I'm thinking 1" inch at most. I'd really like to get coilovers (Zeal B6), however I'm not sure if it's worth all that money. Maybe, just springs from Eibach (1"), H&R (f: .75" & r: .6"), kg/mm (.6") or HKS (1").

On a side note, even though it took much longer then expected, I'd like to thank David at R&D Motorsports for letting Quan & I do the groupbuy.
