Hey I just came back from my test drive. Not much to say that you don't already know. Liked everything about it except when the hood closed. =) Man everything is so short... shifts. I was surprised that the car drove well in city traffic. And I guess unless you go really fast, perhaps contrary to popular belief, the car is very forgiving. It's really easy to drive even if you suck.

 

I assume the "hood" you're referring to is the convertible top. In America the hood is what you call the bonnet.

 

how many miles were on the car and did you rev beyond 6k?

 

I reved beyond 6K. I think my highest rev was at around 8k. Didn't hit 9K. Basically I was on first and second almost all the time. Didn't really have much chance to go beyond that. Is that what everyone does normally? Stay in first and second gear all the time?

Anyways I was definately a lot of fine and everything was so smooth. The engine sound was great. It was sunny out so a great day for S2K. The car had around 12000km on it. I don't plan to buy that car of course. The dealer is asking more for red leather on silver though. =(

I've paid a deposit but probably will get a refund on it. Don't want to rush into anything. I think I'm getting ripped off a little bit though the sales guy was really nice.
