This afternoon I was helping my god daughter clean her HKS exhaust of clearcoat and paint (stupid body shop didn't remove the rear bumper when re-painting ). I used some metal polish and (unfortunately) one of those green scrubbers you use to wash your dishes with. Well, it scratched the hell out of the mirrored polish and my god daughter is pissed . What am I to do? Can you guys and gals give me some tips? Is there a shop that I can bring the exhaust to and they will re-polish it to its former mirror self? I really need to get that mirror look back, she's talking about having me buy her another exhaust (Amuse ) . Thanks!

hmm, I don't think you can remove those fine scratches from metal. I'd say take her HKS and buy her an Amuse. Forgive me if I don't know the price for the Amuse Titanium, must be large.

Any other ideas? Amuse is certainly out of the question. Since metal doesn't come polished like that, isn't there a way a company or someone can re-polish it the way it was?

Try this. It works for their brown exhaust tip.
