Default First $1000 to mod

As soon as you get an S2000 you want to make it your own. I own a 2001 S2000 and spend hrs thinking of things to blow my money on. If you had a $1000 gift card to the "EVERY S2000 PART ON THE MARKET inc." store, what would you buy for you currently stock S2000. Do with this what you like, cause its your car. try and be specific and explain why you would take this over that and so on.

PS I'm looking for performance mods

I would save up a little bit more and get new rims/tires because they are the single mod that makes the biggest difference in the appearance of the car IMO. But then again you will need to save at least another 1,000 to drop the car with some coilovers to go with your new wheels. Basically, once you start modding the car it is never ending. A relatively cheap mod, which is also mandatory IMO if you have an AP1 is to install clear diffusers in the headlights. Just a suggestion. Have fun with modding your car.

i love how these questions get asked every day. if you save up a few hundred more then gears are the way to go....everyone else will say the same thing. 4.44,4.56,4.77 take your pic.

I just read your "PS" that you were looking for performance mods. 1,000 in performance mods for the S2K really won't get you much in terms of real performance, but you can start with a nice sounding exhaust for about that price depending on what you go with. If you are only concerned with performance then you can go with a single exhaust, but they are quite loud and the way an exhaust system sounds is so subjective from one person to the next that I won't even make a recommendation for you. So, now that you have spent your 1st 1k on an exhaust, what is next? Maybe save a few more pennies and get some gears instead. They won't add any HP, but they will improve your acceleration in the car.

How much does installation typically run for a set of gears and reinforced diff?
