First Aid Kit
In my garage I have 3 types: chemical, true Halon, and water. The house has chemical ones in every area/upstairs. Thinking about getting a CO2 for the kitchen also. ( Probably the result of living on a ship and going through mandatory shipboard firefighting school )
I have used an auto chemical extinguisher twice for other car fires, never for my own. That is why I don't use an expensive Halon for the car. Plus if I do use it on my car, I have bigger issues than having zero residue cleanup to worry about!

Well, I hope that you don't ever need to have to use it. That would be a good thing. First Aid is in case of a minor injury or accident all the way up to CPR and maybe the use of an Autmated External Defibrilater, if avaialbe. Given the costs of an AED, most of us are not likely to carry one around, just in case. However, minor injuries can occur on any outing. I was not a Boy Scout, yet I learned to be prepared. You don't have to pack the kitchen sink, however a few basic supplies is good to have handy. Emergencies usually don't give you advanced notice and can happen any time, any where.
