I've had no problems with Rick's and I live in Hawaii.

I understand where you are coming from, this is my first experience with Rick as well and I spoke with Rick to try to order the 4.57 final drive gear. I am waiting on Jeff to call me back for over a week now so that we can set up the order . But when I thought of doing business with them I new this was a part time job and that it would take longer to get everything together. I have only heard good things on the forum about Rick so I have no problem waiting it out. But I do understand your concern. Just hang in there, I now you are frustrated but I am sure Rick will take care of you.

Man, people around here are getting impatient/jumpy these days. One week and you're crying "wolf". Did you arrange with ricks to get your stuff within a week? If not, then I'd bite my tongue.

Specifically to Ricks, I don't understand why people continually get upset about the wait times when they are well documented. Perhaps rick should put a disclaimer on his site (if there isn't one already?).

I realize there's been a slew of bad sales, etc. on the board lately. I agree that it sucks. But the backlash seems to be that everyone is ready to scream "lawsuit" at the drop of a dime.

Seems like an ebay style rating system is long overdue (I know it's been discussed; not trying to kick a dead horse).

PortugueseS2K.

Sorry we missed your emails. You must have sent them to order@ricks rather than info@rick's, since all three of us see the latter, and we've seen nothing from you.

Some other posters are right. Comptech orders ship straight from Comptech's California shop. They are going through some personnel changes right now, and are consequently a bit slower getting items shipped out. Some items are out of stock. We'll check your order status at Comptech tomorrow and let you know.

In the meantime, please forward me a copy of your email order receipt at rick@ricks2k.com. That will help me when I call Comptech.
